On my recent trip to New York, I was on a mission to find the best bagel spot in town. That’s when I stumbled upon Liberty Bagels, famous for its iconic rainbow bagel and super fluffy cream cheese, which you’d almost mistake for gelato if you didn’t know this was a bagel shop. The first Bagel Club meeting was held in November! As the date approached, my nerves built. But the turnout exceeded all my expectations! Many students showed up to hear the bagel fact of the day (did you know the largest bagel ever made weighed 868 pounds?), catch up on bagel news (a new Bethesda Bagels opened in Cabin John), and learn about the history of the bagel. We wrapped up the meeting by enjoying fresh Bethesda Bagels together!
